FARMHR online workshop | 25 august, 8 & 22 September 2025

FarmHR made simple: Practical solutions for today's farm employer.

Worried about getting payroll right, staying compliant, or keeping great staff on the farm?

You're not alone, many farmers feel this way.

In small business, managing human resources is more challenging than ever. From navigating Fair Work Awards to structuring wages and fostering strong teams, farm employers face growing complexity and constant operational demands.

That's why we've created the FarmHR workshop – a practical, hands-on workshop designed specifically for farm employers like you.

We understand what happens on a farm, and our goal is to simplify the complexities, ensure your compliance, and help you build a thriving, engaged team.

Imagine if you could:

- Master Compliance -

Gain a deep understanding of the Pastoral Award, legal contracts, and HR policies to confidently meet your obligations and avoid costly mistakes.

- Optimise Your Team -

Learn proven strategies for attracting, retaining, and managing staff effectively, transforming your farm into an "employer of choice."

- Simplify Complexities -

Get practical tools, templates, and real-world examples you can apply immediately to streamline your HR processes, from wage structures to time worked records.

- remove the guesswork -

Learn with like-minded farmers, share experiences, and gain invaluable insights from an interactive environment. Our unique format gives you time to reflect and implement before the next session.

don't just take our word for it

"…This workshop helped us understand the legal obligations of the employer, as well as the opportunity to learn from the experiences from other producers.”

“I'd recommend it to anyone employing in the agriculture sector. It gave me a great overview of what I need to be focusing on as an employer, and gave good insight into what others are doing in their workplaces."

"Do it! There is so much to know and understand as a farm employer and this is time well spent in learning some of the most important considerations."

Do you relate to any of these statements?

If you answered yes, this workshop will help make your farm’s HR systems simple, compliant, and future-ready.

Working out payroll, overtime, leave, and time off in lieu takes up too much of my time.

I'm not confident our HR policies are compliant with the latest regulations.

Finding and/or keeping good employee's long term is a struggle.

It's overwhelming knowing where to start with choosing the right award and classifications for our team.

There is a communication gap between employers and the employees in our business.
